Pregnant women naturally nest and I admit I have scrubbed the floors, shampooed the carpets, etc., but I think the bug has hit my handyman husband more so this pregancy. In the past severals weekends, he has refinished the counters, put in a glass tile backsplash, started his summer garden seeds in a light garden (in the basement) and most recently, replaced tile in the living room - by the front door as well as the fireplace tile and surround. I am not sure how else to explain all the recent projects other than extreme nesting.

Next up is the living room to be painted (by the professionals due to the vaulted ceilings and stairs) as well as new floors. I am not sure what has gotten into him. As for these last two projects, I have made him promise to wait until post baby arrival.
I have to admit, I am pretty impressed with all of Jeff's work and sure appreciate the extreme nesting. I wish I had the same energy right now!
