Week 3 Photos and Update

Nathan is getting bigger and bigger but that head is still heavy. :)

I love this sweet face. 

• Umbilical cord fell off this week - Monday (4/2). 
• I left Nathan (and Tyler) for the first time since Nathan has been born as we enjoyed our March date night on Saturday with good friends, Dan and Kate Busch.  Jeff and I made a resolution this year to have date night (no kids) at least once a month.  It has been wonderful even though the past two months we have waited until the very last day of the month to make it happen.  Thanks to my mom for watching both boys for a few hours while we had a great dinner at American Bounty.  Also, thanks to Dan and Kate for joining us for dinner and adult conversation! :)  
• Date night also meant Nathan had his first bottle (still breast milk).  He took to it like a champ with no problem!
• Nathan's awake/alert times are growing longer - luckily these have still been during the day still! :)
• Baby acne has hit Nathan the last few days, but seems to be getting better.  I have to remember it doesn't bother him.  Tyler had the same thing for a bit. 
• All in all, life is wonderful with a 2 and a half year old and a 3 week old!  We are so lucky!
