iPhone photo catchup

Wow!  Some of these photos are really old, but I still think they are fun to share.

These three are too cute together.  I love Hadley's expression..."Help me with these boys!"

Tyler is a puzzle guru.  He masters them very quickly and has progressed to 50 piece puzzles now in order to give him a challenge.

Chillin' watching cartoons.

These two often look guilty when playing with each other.   I am certain they are going to cause some mischief in the not so distant future.

Ahh...yes, I know my children again have no pants on.
Their musical talents never cease to amaze me!

I am sure this was taken on a Tuesday after a fun day with Aunt Sandy.

Popcorn and a movie in the playroom.

This child loves the bouncer.  I am not sure he is going to be willing to share when Baby #3 arrives.

Another old cousin photo.  Aunt Susan watched these three one night while Kyle, Maggie, Jeff and I were at a wedding reception.

The boys did get to go to a Mizzou tailgate and game earlier this season.  This was Tyler's excitement as we pulled into the tailgate.  How does he sleep like this?
He often falls asleep holding a book.

The game temp was 100+ degrees so we only made it until half time.  This was the view of the boys before we even left Columbia.  Thanks to my Mom for helping with the boys as Jeff was either at the golf course working or playing in a tournament.  The next game Jeff and I attended without the boys.  Thanks to Krista for watching them so we could actually see a few plays of the game. :)

I cannot believe I have zero photos of us from the actual game.  Probably for the best as it was so hot and none of us were really looking our best...except for the guys in black and gold on the field.  Mizzou is currently ranked #5 in the nation!  Go Tigers!

The Washington High School Homecoming parade is a bit of a tradition.  We usually sit outside Whimpy's and the boys enjoyed chocolate shakes thanks to Grandma.

Tyler was given a foam finger that he enjoyed waving at everyone who would look his way.

Nathan trying on Uncle Bob's boots on a Tuesday with Aunt Sandy.

Tyler enjoyng a snow cone on a nice night down at Sunset on the Riverfront.

Nathan was content playing tractors.

I know this post was very random, but I had a large collection of very random photo.  Seeing as I am so far behind with blog posts I thought I throw a bunch of photos into one post.  If you are still reading/looking...thanks for your patience with all the odd ball photos.

Balloon Glow

Several weekends back...I am oh, so far behind in blogging (many excuses but no time for those now)...we enjoyed the New Haven Balloon Glow on a perfect Friday night.

My boys...now.  In just over three short weeks there will be one more!

Tyler wanted a closer look, of course!

Checking it out from a safe distance.

I loved the back of this trailer:  "Caution: Frequent and Indecisive Stops" :)

Our safe distance didn't last long as these nice guys invited Tyler to get into the basket.

He was ready to go up.

The Pepsi balloon was the "Hare" balloon for the race the following day.

The balloons are so pretty.

Tyler loved the fire shooting up into the balloons.

This one was my favorite.

This was Nathan's reaction every time the fire shot up into a balloon.

They really do GLOW in the evening light.
It was a cool event that the boys both loved.
Nathan said "Bye bye balloons" for a good 10 minutes into our drive home.

The Moving Wall

The Moving Wall came to Washington September 19-23.
It was something we wanted to go see.  We also wanted to pay our respects to the men and women who lost their lives protecting us.  We attempted to teach Tyler a little bit about what the wall meant.  We told him that men and women died while protecting us in America.  We tried to tie it to one of the reasons we say the Pledge of Allegiance.  (Tyler has the memorized the Pledge.  I will have to get it on video soon.)

Jeff was attempting to explain the wall to Tyler.  I am not sure how much he understood.  Tough concept for a 4 year old, but important to start explaining history at some point, right?

I will admit the boys favorite part of the memorial was checking out the Army vehicles.

Scary thought - Nathan driving with Tyler in the back seat.

Nathan was in heaven pretending to drive everything.  He cried when it was time to go.  He loves anything with wheels!

The Moving Wall was an impressive and powerful reminder of the sacrifice of many.  There are 58,272 on the Wall and it is dedicated to the 2.7 million men and women who served in war zone.

Thank you to all of the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve on a daily basis to protect our freedom.  It is truly remarkable!

Fun with Daddy

Jeff is the BEST dad to Tyler and Nathan.  The boys adore their dad and love it when he comes through the door in the evenings.

I was able to capture some of their fun one night when both of them want to bounce on his knee.  Jeff's reaction: "I am not sure what I am going to do when there are three of them.  I only have two knees."

I am not sure who has more fun...the boys or Jeff?

These two LOVE all the physical play with dad.  Bouncing, wrestling, tackling, shooting hoops...you get the idea.

I took this video after 10 previous rounds of bouncing.  Needless to say, Jeff was a bit tuckered out but the boys had no intention of stopping.  I am pretty sure they got a few more rounds before Jeff diverted their attention with the promise of ice cream. ;)
